Just as i was putting this compilation together a new track by the much hyped passion Pit surfaced on pitchfork.
From the as yet unreleased debut album (I see a leak has sufaced today).

18. The Big Pink - Velvet (april 2009)
The band recently Won NME's Philip Hall Radar award for best newcomer (Glasvegas took it last year).
A lovely rock swagger with a loping beat. They should be huge.
